Hardiman kicked off men's basketball team
The Central Michigan University men’s basketball team announced Tuesday that senior forward Jacolby Hardiman has been released from the program due to a violation of team rules.
Hardiman joined the Chippewas last season after transferring from The University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Last season, Hardiman started in 28 games for CMU, averaging 9.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per-game.
Hardiman finished with the second-best shooting percentage (.483) and tied for the second-most steals on the team (45).
Hardiman is the fifth Chippewa to leave the CMU program this offseason as Lawrence Bridges, William Eddie III, Adrian Hunter, and Jeremy Allen also parted ways with the Chippewas, but all four of their departures were on good terms and part of a mutual agreement.
