Central Michigan has granted transfer releases to men's basketball players Austin McBroom and Jorddan Myrick.
As a freshman guard during the 2011-12 season, McBroom averaged 10.9 points and pulled down 2.4 rebounds per. He also dished out 85 assists in 31 games. Myrick, also a freshman guard, tallied 0.7 points per game in 15 appearances.
Forward Zach Saylor, who battled various injuries throughout his career, will graduate in May and not return to the team. Paris Paramore will also graduate in May and will not return to the team after being diagnosed with a medical condition this past season.
In football news, CMU's home game versus Navy has been moved to Friday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN2. It was previously slated for Oct. 13.
