I received word yesterday that wide receiver Billy Myler has left the CMU football program. He apparently left on his own volition despite being offered a scholarship for next season. If he changes his mind at any point, he is free to rejoin the program. He would have been a redshirt sophomore this fall.

Also, Nathan Ricketts can be added to the CMU recruiting class. He is an inside linebacker out of Holland High School and will come in as one of the Chippewas' top recruits. Ricketts totaled 153 tackles and nine sacks this past season, earning him Parade High School All-American honors.
