Zeigler is heading to CMU
I was able to confirm from very reliable sources at CMU that Mt. Pleasant senior guard Trey Zeigler will in fact commit to Central Michigan University on Wednesday.
Zeigler will join his father Ernie, who coaches the Chippewas.
This is a major landing for CMU men's basketball and could very well be a landmark day in program history if Zeigler is able to live up to the recruiting ranking he has been given. This signing could also open the doors for other higher profile recruits to join CMU and make the Chippewas a contender in the Mid-American Conference.

This is huge for CMU, if true (I'm not questioning you, Drew, it's just that reports like this come out all the time just so that those involved can say "fooled you!")
If he commits tomorrow, I, as well as thousands of other CMU students, will have little reason to not get behind the basketball program and bring it to new heights. Fire up Chippewas!!!
Look even I still struggle to imagine it, but you can trust me when I tell you that it is true. Get ready for some serious excitment on the floor the next four years.
I hear ya, just forgive me for waiting until tomorrow before I get my hopes up. It will be great for CMU and Mount Pleasant if the basketball program is revitalized. The football program has only gotten better (and hopefully will continue to get better) and basketball season will continue the excitement through the rest of the academic year. No more post-football hangovers in Mount Pleasant.
Please Drew, do not tease me like this... If this is true it will change CMU sports forever.
