Facilities and tv exposure will prevent this from ever happening. That said it looks like there are a number of candidates on this list that could bring us MAC championships on a semi regular basis.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4561213937640397570.post-65236587846054038482010-01-08T21:44:30.977-08:002010-01-08T21:44:30.977-08:00I agree that ignoring Bonamego as a finalist is a ...I agree that ignoring Bonamego as a finalist is a mistake, his resume is strong and should be considered. Was among the final two last time with Jones, what has changed since then, just two very successful yrs with the Dolphins as a Coordinator, much more experience than most of the finalists.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4561213937640397570.post-58941620884162385682010-01-08T19:56:08.203-08:002010-01-08T19:56:08.203-08:00John Bonamego....CMU is making a hugh mistake if t...John Bonamego....CMU is making a hugh mistake if they dont interview him. The most qualified and the only one that wants to be at CMU for the long haul...not just a stepping stone for some other job!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4561213937640397570.post-9466222120447119782010-01-08T17:16:28.659-08:002010-01-08T17:16:28.659-08:00Six solid candidates -- however the two best candi...Six solid candidates -- however the two best candidates that will take the foundation that Brian Kelly and Butch Jones laid (Top 25 program, four consecutive Bowls) are two candidates. Dan Enos (Michigan State Running Backs Coach) and Scot Loeffler (Florida Quarterbacks Coach).

Loeffler has the better organizational pedigree and is one of the best young football minds in the nation. Belichik wanted him, Saban wanted him, Meyer got him.

His organizational skills and Michigan and national recruiting prowess will lead the Chippewas to the top. He will get the best athletes (ie. Antonio Bryant) out of Florida and the South to come to Michigan and will develop them into winners. He could take Central Michigan to that Boise State level (Top 10 in the nation).

Just be prepared to lose him in a few years to one of the top few programs in the country.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4561213937640397570.post-85786312078441344802010-01-08T16:38:51.320-08:002010-01-08T16:38:51.320-08:00I trust the guy who has done the research and talk...I trust the guy who has done the research and talked to the candidates to make the decision. Don't get me wrong, I'd like Saban or Carroll, but my assumption is Heeke has done the work. He has stated himself that our style won't change.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547401435710344399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4561213937640397570.post-48978150228973455142010-01-08T16:14:30.736-08:002010-01-08T16:14:30.736-08:00I am not particularly impressed with any of the co...I am not particularly impressed with any of the coaches being interviewed. I would like someone who can run our current offensive program. If it is not broke do not change it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
